I wrote about the holiday program I went to because well that's what I did on the holiday so I took a screenshot of my slide to show my writing.

Stepsweb July Goals 2021

 Steps web Reflection 

This term in whakamanawa I have been focusing on our steps web minutes that we have been doing over the year. we are going to see the changes from July to September.

This is my reflection from July 2021:

My steps web minutes in July were 744 minutes and now my minutes are 1070 minutes so I am on track with my steps web learning!

The level I wanted to accomplish is level 6 and I am on level 5-2B and I am very close to the level I really wanted to be on, level 6

I have been doing 20 minutes a day on steps web in my literacy classes and in my spear/free time.

Today in Whakamanawa Miss Waho shared us a D.L.O to complete so when we started I wanted it to be in my style and I wanted to personalize it so I found a yellow background so I got that then I thought It would be cool if it was in gold and white to match.

I Really liked this and talking about my past in lockdown

 Covid-19 alert level 4-3 and to put some info about what I thought I didn't like and thinks I thought were interesting and were fun for me it was a really cool time in lockdown some time spent baking and doing school work and a lot of chores I guess it was kinda fun and boring so the middle I guess - ^ -

Kia Ora Everyone today ( yesterday ) while whakamanawa was on a google meet my friend daisy said " hey miss Waho ( or miss Cabral ) Can we do a D.L.O about what we want to be when we grow up

and one of them said " great idea Daisy! " and so miss Waho ( whakamanawa teacher ) made us ( whakamanawa ) a D.L.O to complete and finish!

Dinner!

 Me Making Dinner ( ep 28 )

Kia ora today I got to make dinner so I decided to make bangers and mash with mixed vegetables

first, I peeled 10 potatoes. 

after peeling them I washed them then I got my mum to cut them.

Then, I put the cut potatoes in a pot.

And Then,  I put the pot with potatoes on the stove then put the temp on 7-8

It was very fun

For mixed vegetables

I pulled vegetables out of the freezer 

I put them in a pot with water 

then I put them on a stove on temp 5-6

for the bangers ( sausages ) 

I pulled the sausages out of the fridge 

then I got a tray then put the sausages on them

and then I put 3 coats of oil on the sausages on them

then I turned on the oven then put them in for 10 mins on 2.50 temp and fan bake.

then after they were all cooked I dished 6 plates 3 for my sisters and 2 for my brothers and 1 for me and I made some for my parents for a surprise and they loved it 

( Just know I made this near 6:30 )

As you know today is the 5th of September is fathers day and that day is today!

So Whakamanawa started this slide called special someone and that special someone is my dad but I haven't really gotten to finish it since lockdown so I can show you some of the slides about it...

And then after that, we had some ice cream! The hokey pokey flavor was very divine and yummy!

Kia Ora good afternoon today since I had nothing to do I wanted to make a fort since I was board I gathered all of my supplies and got started I needed blankets pillows and some decor you know to make it look pretty and nice. after that, I took some photos so I can make a post on blogger ( here ), and then after the photos, I put one of my blankets on to so it can be a roof. and since I wouldn't be able to see or do anything I brang in my Chromebook so I could put on some music and since I don't have any lights I searched u;p on youtube L.E.D lights so I could look cool!

My Paralympics

Kia Ora Everyone today I have been working on my Paralympics and it took me a week or two to complete this but I did and I really like it. this was very successful to make and very fun to do

Today in Whakamanawa have been learning about a dog quiz about what dog would match with you so I did the quiz and my match dog is a Bichon Frise dog! 

The Bichon Frise dog is one of the famous dogs in the world!

Life span: 12-15 years!

height: 23-28 cm (9-11 in)

weight: Male 3-5 kg. Female 3-5 kg.

 What I Would Do If I Had 5 million dollars

If I had 5 million dollars I would donate 5000 dollars to charity and another 5000 on stationery for children who don't have any for school I would use 200 for shopping for my mum 300 for my dad give my teacher ( Miss Waho ) 500 to use for herself ( you know, to buy her some nice things )

For the last of my money, I would buy me some school supply for next year, decor for my room, some new clothes, a Chromebook and gifts for my mum and friends buy some girly things for my sister, toys for my siblings, donate to homeless shelters, donate to cancer pages, donate!

I have a Bff called Raewyn and she knows Jianhao Tan (On YouTube) And we are very big fans of him every week he posts a video and they are so great if you haven't seen them you should really watch them they are great!

Ever Since Lockdown started I've missed school because it has all of my favorite teachers and all of my friends I've missed them so so so much I'm very sad that I am in Lockdown but at least I have all of my family with me!!!

I also do a lot of drawings ( in my previous post my drawings are there ) My family loves my art and so do my teachers and my friends!!.

One of the many things I love doing is to sing my dream when I am older is to become a famous singer and who knows maybe more!

Kia Ora my name is Aimee Matoe and today I will be telling my story about my Lockdown Experience (We are still in lockdown so this is some of my experience)

The First Night Of LockDown: Tuesday 10:39 the minute it struck 10:40 everyone at my house who had a phone an alert went off saying lockdown would begin at Midnight sharp,

My family was in a panic they didn't want Lockdown to come back but it came back they were very upset about this but everything the prime minister said they had to follow so they just stayed quiet.

This I was kinda happy about because I got to finish off my drawings

And in my spare time, I spent hanging out with my siblings!

Recount Of Thursday!

 Recount Of Thursday ( For Literacy)

Yesterday was Thursday 5/8/2021. This day was the day of the Zones Tournament. In every sport for winter sports, 7-10 people get picked or voted for to go to the Tournament. I didn't get picked so I stayed at school.

 When all of the year 6's left for the tournament There were only a little few students in Whakamanwa so we got split up into classes since Miss Waho went to the Tournament too. I got Put into Ngakaunui. When We started our rotations for fun activity's we had to stay in Ngakaunui Manawarowa or Mangopare To do our first activity for our rotations

After Morning Tea We had to go to our second rotation I had to go to Mangopare for my second rotation. he talked about his past about the Olympic's then we had a knee tapping contest for my last rotation I went with miss raisin we did Olympics coloring or watching the Olympics!

 My Student Led Conference 2021

This week we have been doing a D.L.O about our Student-Led Conference this D.L.O was something whakamanawa has been working on since the first day of term 3.

Next week on Monday and Tuesday is student-led conference days.

Our whānau's are coming to the school and we (students & teachers) will be presenting our work to our parents or to the principal (Mr. Wilkinson )

Last week whakamanawa got a notice saying: kia ora next week on Thursday 8.7.21 is book character day whanau. So Today we have dressed up as book characters. A lot of my friends dressed up as people here are some of my friend's names and who they dressed up as.

This week our value is: being one time 

Info: being on time is important because if you're late for a meeting then you won't know what to do. 

If you're late all the time then you won't learn new info and you won't gain friends you might lose them.

Perhaps say if I was on time or early then I could have done the things I had to do so I wasn't late or unorganized

If I'm on time and not late much people will respect me and think of me as a good person and an organized person
